张巡籍贯考述

The Textual Research of ZHANG Xun's Native Place

安史之乱时,张巡血战睢阳,力抗叛军,以身殉国。新、旧《唐书》皆有传,历代诗文也有不少谈及他的生平、籍贯的。然而,说法不一,“邓州南阳说”“蒲州河东说”“睢阳说”莫衷一是。笔者翻阅了大量资料并经实地考察证明,张巡祖籍在唐代蒲州河东(今山西芮城),出生地在邓州南阳(今河南邓州),战死在睢阳(今河南商丘睢阳),因殉国时,身首支离,三地皆招魂而葬。

Zhang Xun,who had fought a bloody battle and then died at his country during 'the mutiny of An and shi',The old,new Tang Book all had his biographies,howver,past dynasties also had lots of poems and articles which talked about all his life,native place,nevertheless, as opions varied, no decision conld be reached to ZHANG Xun's native place .Composing Zhang Xun's critical biography,I consult plenty of materials,and arrive at Ruicheng in Shan Xi,Dengzhou in Henan to do an on-the-spot investigation,then reach an conclusim:ZHANG Xun's native place being at the east of Puzhou River of Tang dynasty (now Ruicheng in Shanxi ),his birthplace being at Dengzhou in Nanyang (now Dengzhou in Henan),dying in battle at Suiyang (now Suiyang of Shangqiu in Henan),because his body and head was fragmented when died for his country,this three places respectively called back his spirit and then buried .
