A Person Cheering for Modern Poetry——the Relationship Between Luxun and Modern Poetry

对于新诗,鲁迅起初是给予了热情支持的,他不仅亲自实践,而且还在理论上积极呐喊助威,但是他的态度后来却发生了极大的改变。他在态度上的转变和他个人的性情、学养有关,但更与他对于新诗日渐深化的认识紧密相连。鲁迅和新诗的关系不是一个个案,而是一种典型或曰代表。考察新诗发展过程中的这种典型或曰代表的“返古”现象,有助于我们对于新诗的一些问题进行重新思考。

Luxun enthused over the modern poetry so much that he not only practised it himself, but cheered for it in theory. But later his attitude towards it changed greatly. The change, undoubtedly, has a direct bearing on his disposition and learning accomplishment. But to some extent, it bears a much closer relation to his gradually deepened understanding of the modern poetry. This kind of relationship between Luxun and the modern poetry is not an exception, but an example, or representative. The inspection of this kind of“returning”phenomenon in the development of the modern poetry could help us to rethink some problems about it.
