摘要
数字信号处理芯片除了要有很强的数字处理能力外,在构成系统时还需要方便灵活的接口。德州仪器公司(TI)的很多DSP中都设计了HPI(Host Port Interface)接口,外部主机可通过该接口直接访问DSP的存储空间,包括映射的外围设备。文章介绍了用HPI接口实现主机和DSP的高速数据交互。
Except for high-performance ability, digital signal processors (DSPs) also need flexible,interfaces to compose a system. Texas Instrument company provides a kind of DSPs with Host-Port-Interface (HPI). HPI can let external masters access DSP memories directly including mapped peripherals. This article introduces how to realize data exchange between HPI and external master.
