Design of an Embedded File Manager Based on Flash Storage

叙述了 Flash存储器的特点 ,分析了典型文件系统在嵌入式系统中应用的局限性 ,针对嵌入式系统的特点 ,设计了一种基于 Flash存储器的嵌入式文件管理器 ,提出了类 DOS的结构设计 ,实现了与支持 FAT文件格式的操作系统的数据共享。阐述了具体的设计方法 ,并探讨了嵌入式文件管理器的设计思路、方法和技巧。

This paper describes the Flash Storage's characteristics, and analyzes the limit ation that the typical file system is applied in embedded system. According to t he performance of the storage media and the embedded system, an embedded file ma nager based on Flash Storage is developed. This paper also proposes a new struct ure, which is similar to DOS file system; therefore, the resources on the Flash Storage can be shared with the PC built on Windows OS. Furthermore, the paper di scusses the way of thinking, method and core techniques to design embedded file manager.
