入世之前话教育——兼谈加入WTO与我国高等教育的发展

A Comment on Education before Joining WTO ——Personal Considerations about WTO and the Development of the Higher Education in China

通过分析我国高等教育发展现状、加入WTO后对高等教育产生的直接和间接影响 ,提出高等教育适应新形势的对策。

For some reasons,for a long time,the higher education in China has fallen behind.Accordingly,the higher education lacks proper activity and the capability of competition,which hinders it from playing its proper roles.The time for China to join WTO is drawing nearer and nearer after the agreement between China and the USA.We may predict that to join WTO will affect the higher education in China in a round way by its influences on uneducational fields such as labour markets,agriculture and economy,etc,and that it will also affect the higher education in China directly.Some suitable suggestions are given to the development of the higher eduaction in China by the analysis of its present situation and the possibly direct and indirect effects on it.
