Gan Ba Ba（干巴巴）'is a common word highly used in Chinese. The affix 'Ba Ba(巴巴)' of it is considered as no concrete meaning like the 'Zi（子）' of 'Re Zi（儿子）' and the 'Lao （老）' of 'Lao Hu（老虎）' . However, the present paper will prove a fact: Among the three-character-style derivatives like 'Gan Ba Ba （干巴巴）'. The 'AA' originated from ancient Chinese in semantics containing hidden meanings; and the affixes coordinate but not subordinate to the root. The above idea will be helpful to seek out the source of Chinese words in literature in formation. What's more, the present paper has discussed the affix's form and appearence.
