摘要
本文比较了西方古典悲剧与中国古代“哀曲”在主人公、情节、悲喜剧因素和戏剧冲突等方面的差异,并指出了导致这种差异的文化原因,认为西方古典悲剧主要是在形而上层次对生命、对人类的存在等永恒的问题发出哲学追问;而中国古代“哀曲”则执着于现实表象世界,多演绎世俗人物的悲欢离合,宣扬伦理精神。最后以《桃花扇》为例,探讨了中国文人特有的悲剧精神──历史虚无感。
This essay attempts to point out that the Chiese Grief Qu and the Western Classic Tragedy are quite different rom each other. These differences in leading character, plot, tragicomedy factors and tragic conflicts are attributed to their different cultural backgrouds. Western classic tragedy primarily inquires about the existence of humanity, yet the Chinese Grief qu tells the ordinary people's life. Based on thie, the essay discusses the Fan with Peach Blossom which embodies a kind of special chinese tragic spirit-sense of historical nihility.
