Comments on the Study of ZHANG Hen-shui

张恨水是我国现代小说史上杰出的通俗言情小说作家，但由于时代历史的原因和意识形态因素，他的重要性一直没有得到充分的认识。本文把张恨水研究分为两个时间阶段和四个方面，对张恨水的研究成果做一番简要的检阅。

Zhang Hen-shui is the outstanding writer of popular novel in history of Chinese con-temporary fiction Because of the cause of times and social ideology , his singificance has never been recognized compeletly. This paper tries to make a brief reviews on the achievement of Zhang Hen-shui's study from two periods and four aspects.
