Structural Selection of the International System and Sino-American Relations

国际体系结构对大国关系有重大影响 ,半个世纪以来一直制约着中美关系的发展。冷战后 ,中美之间的结构性矛盾更加凸显 ,它预示着新世纪的中美关系不可能一帆风顺 ,甚至有恶化之虞 ,但中美之间并非不可避免新冷战或武力冲突。为此中国应树立适宜的对美外交战略和策略。

International system structure affects the relationship among powers and has been restricting the development of Sino American relation. The structural contradictory between China and USA is becoming more prominent. It shows that the relationship between China and USA won't develop very well, and even will become worse than before. However, on the other hand, New Cold War or military conflict is not inevitable between China and USA. So China should set up appropriate diplomatic strategy and tactics to USA.
