浅议科学技术史研究的不同取向

The Different Directions of the Study for the History of Science and Technology

科学技术史是历史学中发展较晚的一个分支，却又是其中日愈被重视的内容。从知识体系来看，科学技术史表述的是人类与自然界斗争、协调中的智慧和技能积累、演进的脉络。从生产要素这一角度来考察，它应清楚地说明科学技术为什么会成为生产力发展的基础和动力；从文化史的角度来看，科学技术史，不难说它应是人类文明史的主线；若从智能财富这一角度来考察科学技术史，就应该承认这是一部科学家、技术专家的成就表彰史，当然这些成就的取得离不开当时社会环境和条件的影响与制约，也应该承认它是集体智慧的结晶。

History of Science and Techology is a late part of the whole Hi story Study,but more and more attention is being paid on the knowledge system,the history of science and technolgy ref lects the wisdom and skills ,which were accumulated during the peocess of human's strug- gling and consolidatong with the natural world.In terms of primary production element,the history of science and technology indicates quite clearly why technology os the fundamental and propelled power for productivity.From the aspect of culture,the history of science and technology is a main clue for human beings' civilization history.Starting from the aspect of the intellectual wealth,the history of science and technology can be regarded as the honor history of the achievements of scientists and experts.
