The author states in the paper that instead of a leisurely hermitage, Chuangtzu's spiritual fantasy is actually a void left over by his despair of society. Chuangtzu, born in turbulent days, with in his mind an irremovable contradiction against the society, poured out his satire and resentment which, under outer coats of flawless images, demonstrates his being involved.
