“大漠孤烟直”中“孤烟”新解

New Explanation to"Solitary Smoke"in the Line "Straight Solitary Smoke in Vast Sand

唐代王维《使至塞上》一诗中有“大漠孤烟直”句 ,而其中的“孤烟” ,历来众说纷纭 ,认为是烽火、烽烟、燧烟、狼烟、炊烟等。这些解释均不妥当 。

In Tang Dynasty there is a line in poet Wang Wei's peom'Envoy to the Frontier',which is'straight solitary smoke in vast sand'.Different people hold different opinions in explaining'solitary smoke'.They hold that the smoke may be beacon fire,beacon smoke,flint smoke,wolves' dung smoke,chimney smoke etc.These suppositions are all against the fact that it is actually a whirlwind with dust in the vast desert.
