Brush and ink are the basic tools and materials which traditional Chinese painting employs.Mode- linq with lines is an essential method in Chinese painting.The using of lines in Chinese paintinq differs from person and subject,and different aesthetic perceptions occur.From this presupposition,The importance of lines in Chinese painting,the aesthetic perception of lines,and their power of expression are thoroughly explained .Also,the author wants to help the students have a better understandinq of lines and master the relative techniques.
