An Investigation of Onset Age of Psoriasis in 1280 Cases

调查了1280例银屑病患者的初发年龄,平均初发年龄27.23岁,男性29.25岁,女性23.46岁。初发年龄大多在15～39岁组,占72.96％,最高峰在20～24岁组,占19.53％。初发年龄大小与病情轻重无明显关系,而与病程长短有明显关系,即初发年龄越小者,其病程一般较长。

Our investigation showed that the mean onset age of psoriasis was 27.23 years, with male being 29.25 and female 23.46 years, respectively. The onset occurred mostly in the group of 15-39 years(72.96％), with a peak in the group of 20-24 years(19.53％). The severity of the disease was recorded not to be related to the onset age, but the course of the disease was influenced markcdly by it. The younger the patient in whom the inset occures, the longer the whole course of the diaease.
