摘要
本文探讨英汉新词语的理据性,亦既词义形成的可释性。文中对英汉新词的理据构成作了相应的分类,认为这种比较研究既能丰富现有语义学或词汇学的理论,亦有助于揭示不同语言的文化沉积,这对语言学研究大有裨益。
The paper involves the study of motiveness in new Sino-Anglican lexicon. A classification is provided accordingly, with the belief in its addition to the present systems of semantics and lexiology, and in the access to an adequate interpretation of cultural allusions as deposited in the cases involved.
