“五形态说”刍议

A Study on the Theory of "Five Social-economic Formations

长期以来,关于人类社会的历史分期理论,不少人坚持“五形态说”这样一种理论观点,认为人类社会是严格按照原始社会、奴隶社会、封建社会、资本主义社会、社会主义社会依次递进的唯一的社会演进进程,并且将此理论强加在马克思的名下。事实情况并非如此,“五形态说”不仅从来就不是马克思的主张,而且这种理论对社会主义实践运动有着极其严重的危害性。

Over a long period of time, some scholars have persisted in the Theory of 'Five Social-eonomic Formations' as a part of Marxism, considering that human society has gone forward one by one from primitive to slave, to feudal, to capitalist, and to socialist society. Actually, such theory has not only never been involved in Marxism, but also has seriously harmed the socialist practice .
