证券市场发展趋势是开展股指期货 ,证券期货界、政府、投资者作为这项制度的创新者各具优势 ,在现行体制下 ,只有政府才能成为制度创新的第一推动力 ,证券期货界可助政府一臂之力 ,逐步完善现货、期货市场条件和基础设施 。

Stock index future market should be established for the development of stock market. As reformers, stock agencies, goverment sectors and investors have their advantages respectively. The goverrnent would be the only initiative force of the system innovation under current circumstance in China, stock agencies should be the aiders too. The hard and soft environments of spot exchange and future markets should be perfected to promote the development of stock index futures.
