In late July, Mr. Powell, Secretary of State of America paid a visit to China, before which, on July 5th, President Bush made his first call since he came to the stage to Chinese President Jiang Zemin. In his call, Mr. Bush laid stress on American-Sino relationships and expressed his desire to work together with China on world affairs. Does this mean that Sino-American relationships began a new start after so many twists and turns? Where will the bilateral relation go? The world is watching.
