摘要
寻找性能瓶颈是性能分析中的一项重要任务,内存瓶颈的表现并不像CPU或磁盘那样直接,本文通过对Solaris8内存管理机制的研究,给出了寻找Solaris8系统内存瓶颈的方法.
A critical component of performance analysis is finding out where bottlenecks are. Detecting memory bottleneck is not as straight forward as measuring CPU and disk. By researching memory management mechanism of Solaris 8 operating systems, this paper gives methods to determine memory bottlenecks in Solaris 8.
