X20CrMoV121 steel is the heat-resistant steel produced in accordance with DIN17175, the Germany industry standard. The highest available temperature is 650℃ and it is applied mostly in the high-temperature and high-pressure imported units. It has been regarded as the important and difficult point in the power station building because of its high alloy content and poor welding property. The actual application of X20CrMoV121 steel in one power station engineering in Sichuan has been introduced, in which its welding property has been analyzed, and the measures of welding and heat treatment technology have been introduced in detail.
