The Effect of Cultural Values on the Financial Institution Changes of China

文化价值观念通过影响个体行为和集体行为对制度变迁产生着不可忽视的影响。中国转轨时期,文化价值观念演化遵循的路径有两个支撑点:一是以政治伦理为核心的传统儒家思想,二是源于西方的商业伦理思想。传统的儒家思想影响了中国的金融制度变迁,表现为国有金融制度变革的滞后性、金融制度安排的“推倒重来”等。而商业伦理思想的逐渐强化有利于逐步弥补儒家思想中的缺陷,有利于推进中国金融制度变迁。

By affecting the individual behaviors and collective behaviors, cultural values produce the assignable influence on the institution changes. During the period of the transition economies of China, there are 2 points that props up the path, which the evolution of the cultural values follows in China. One is the traditional Confucianism that regards the political ethics as the core, the other is the business ethics thoughts that comes from the West. The traditional Confucianism affected the financial institution change of China, which displays the slowness of the financial institution change, and ' push over to do it again' in the financial institution arrangement of China etc. While, the gradually enhance of the business ethics thoughts is advantageous to make up the blemish within the Confucianism gradually, and to push forward the Chinese financial institution change.
