Half a year after the No. 1 AV80 fan put into operation in the Heat and Power Plant of Yinshan Section Steel Co., Laiwu Steel, sediment incrustation has taken place in the steam flowing part of steam turbine, influencing the economic and safe running of the equipments. Analysis is made against at the reasons causing sediment incrustation with the blowing and purging handling methods described , which provides profitable reference on prevention and handling the problem of sediment incrustation.
