Ontology Middleware in the ES Platform

With more and more intelligent systems developed and used in various applications, the exchange and interoperability problems among these systems arise. Ontology can provide a fundamental framework for the interoperation among various systems and can efficiently solve the problem. The paper discusses the design of the ontology middleware system which is a part of the ES platform (BAPDES), the ontology middleware system can efficiently support knowledge exchange and interoperation in knowledge access processes. The design provides a solution to the problem of heterogeneous knowledge access.
