An Analysis of Causes of Achievements of “Zizhi Tongjian”

北宋著名政治家、史学家司马光主编的《资治通鉴》是我国史学史上一部史学名著,它贯通古今、体大思精,自问世以来备受世人赞誉,对我国史学产生了深远影响。对其伟大的成就,人们已经耳熟能详,但是就其成就的原因,却少有系统的分析和探讨。本文拟从它成就原因方面做一分析、探讨,以期有益于我们的学习和研究,并就教于方家。

It is well known that Si Ma-guang made great achievements in compiling “Zizhi Tongjian”. However, there lacks adequate analyses or probes into the causes of the achievements. This article explores the causes carefully, for the purpose of guiding further research.
