The principles and method for dynamically measuring operating axes of rotary kiln were introduced in this paper. Measuring parameters include diameters of roller stations and tyres, tyre gap and straightness accuracy of operating axes of rotary kiln. A new practical system used for dynamically measuring operating axes of rotary kiln is developed. The system has many advantages, such as simple structure, convenient installing and using and it can communicate with management host. Industrial measuring results show that the method is of higher measurement precision and reliability.
