A Study of Ben-mo-Styled History Books in the Late Qing Dynasty

要想提高史学史研究的水平,深入研究历史编撰学无疑是其中一个重要的环节。前辈学者对历史编撰学的研究主要集中在单篇上,通过以晚清纪事本末体史书研究为例,证明用"通识"的眼光,宏观地分析一种史学体裁演变、发展的轨迹,更有助于总结它在史体方面继承和创新的特点,目的是为建立历史编撰学的体系做初步的尝试。

One important way of improving one's level in the study of historiography is a down-to-earth study of the science of historio-compilation. In this aspect, the previous scholars focused on the study of the single text. Taking the study of Ben-mo-styled history books of the late Qing Dynasty as the example, the author points out that a macro-study of the development of a historio-style will be a good approach to summarizing its traits of inheritance and innovation, which should be a helpful step in establishing a scientific system of historio-compilation.
