摘要
隐喻的认知过程为话语理解中的关键环节。鉴于隐喻中图式映射的灵活性 ,这一认知过程并非简单的语义联系。在阅读过程中意象图式是一种组织概念知识的基本单位 ,读者可以将它作为理解目标域的平台。了解话语理解中的隐喻认知的动态过程对阅读教学意义重大。它有助于读者在词汇和篇章两个层面上依据话语中的信息建构意义。
Cognitive process of metaphor plays a critical part in discourse comprehension. Due to the flexibility of schema mapping of metaphor, this process involves more than the simple semantic associations. Image schemas can be used by readers as basic units to organize conceptual knowledge which serves as a scaffold for the reader to achieve an understanding of the target domain. Awareness of the dynamic cognitive process of metaphor in discourse comprehension has a lot of pedagogical implications in reading comprehension. It may help the reader construct meaning based on information of the discourse at lexical and textual levels.
