Strengthening and Improving the Supervision of Foreign-funded Banks in China

新资本协议对现阶段我国外资银行的监管工作提出了更高的要求。当前,我国要积极应对新资本协议的要求,进行监管重点调整,采取诸如完善外资银行分类监管制度、加强银行监管的国际合作与协调及加大对监管人员的学习和培训力度等措施,努力加强和完善外资银行监管工作。

The New Basle Capital Accord has raised strict requirements for the supervision of foreign-funded banks in the current stage. At present, in order to strengthen and improve this work, we must take vigorous actions to fulfill the requirements raised by the New Basle Capital Accord and readjust the supervisory orientation. Also we are required to take a series of effective measures such as improving the classified supervision system, enhancing the international cooperation in banking supervision, and intensifying the training of supervisors.
