On Ironical Utterances from the Perspective of Relevance Theory

反讽正受到哲学家、心理学家、语言学家和认知学家越来越密切的关注。文中就关联理论对反讽言语的理解进行了一些探讨。先概要介绍了反讽话语的一些特点 ,再阐述了关联理论中如交际的推理特性、语境、最佳关联等一些基本概念。最后指出怎样从关联理论的角度来探讨反讽言语 ,并认为这样有助于我们更好地把握反讽言语的本质 。

The study of ironical utterances is drawing more and more attention from philosophers,psycholoˉgists,linguists and cognitive scientists.This paper approaches comprehension of ironical utterances from the perspective of the relevance theory.First,it introduces some basic ideas of ironical utterances,and then exˉplores some main concepts of relevance theory,e.g.the inferential feature of communication,context and so on.At last,this paper explains howto study ironical utterances with the help of relevance theory,and holds that this way of doing can help to grasp the essence of ironical utterances,and then better understand ironical utterances.
