Polysulfone fiber is an aromatic polyamide fiber with high-temperature-resistant property, which is developed with know-how of Chinese origin. The article introduces the major properties of this fiber, including heat resistance, thermal stability and dimensional stability under high temperature as well as flame retardence and electric insulation. Polysulfone fiber can be widely used for making protective products, high- temperature-resistant filtering materials, electric insulation materials, honeycomb-structured materials, friction sealing materials, etc.
