Therefore, it is very important to improve loom efficiency by reducing weft stoppage. The article discusses in details the reasons that cause weft stop and relevant measures for solving the problem. It points out that rationally setting weft-related process parameters, reducing weft tension and taking strict control over the quality of filling yarn are effective measures for reducing weft stoppage and improving loom performance and cost/efficiency.
