A Findings Report on Extra-Curricular English Reading for the Studentsof Non-English Specialities in Our College

对昭通师专非英语专业学生英语课外阅读时间、阅读材料、阅读目的和策略的抽样调查表明, 调查对象用于英语课外阅读的时间很少,很难找到自己喜欢、合适的阅读材料,阅读策略应用并不理想。为此 需要改进专科公共英语教学。

From the sample survey of reading time, reading material, reading purpose and tactics of the extra-curricular English reading for the students of non-English specialities in our college, it makes clear that the investigative objects spend very little time to the extra-curricular English reading. They can hardly find their own delightful and suitable reading-materials. The application of reading tactics is not so ideal. So we need improving the public English teaching in the college.
