事件域认知模型及其解释力

The Event-Domain Cognitive Model

国外一些知名认知语言学家提出许多解释概念结构和句法构造的理论模型,但基本上都存在以下三个问题:1)分析层面单一;2)侧重动态场景;3)主要针对句法。本文针对这些不足提出“事件域认知模型”,它既符合人们的正常认知规律,可解释概念结构的形成和句法构造的基础,且又可部分弥补上述三点不足之处,还可以此解释语义和交际层面中诸多现象:缺省交际、脚本理论、时段分析、间接言语行为、事体命名、词性转换、词义变化、反义同词等。可见ECM是一种有较强解释力的认知方式,这又为认知语言学强调解释语言须用统一分析法提供了一个有效的分析工具。

Some cognitive linguists have put forward theoretical models for explaining conceptual structures and syntactic constructions, but their analyses are often inadequate in that they are single-level oriented, dynamic-scenario oriented, and syntactic-constructions oriented. This paper proposes an Event-Domain Cognitive Model (ECM) in an attempt to overcome the above inadequacies. The ECM, which accords with human normal cognitive rules, can account for not only the conceptual structures and syntactic constructions but also phenomena in semantic and communicative aspects such as default-value, script, act-period analysis, indirect speech act, denomination, conversion, and ambivalent words.
