摘要
On October 14, 2004, China and Canada after negotiation, signed an MOU regarding the restoration of trade on Canadian bovine semen and embryo. This has provided an opportunity for the trade of cattle genetics between China and Canada, which was inter- rupted because of BSE. Accordingly, the journalist from China Dairy magazine conducted an interview with the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Mr. Andy Mitchel. "On January 17, 2005, AQSIQ published the list of registered Canadian bovine semen and embryo centres which are approved for export of their products to China. This means that trade of these products can be formally resumed from January 17, 2005."
