As we can see,national patterns overflow the beauty of life. After discussing the entireness, orderliness,rhythm and other shape characters of life-form,the paper explores the relations between those characters and the aesthetic trait of national patterns.The paper presents that the beauty of life-form in national patterns was derived from the cosmology of ancient China which is called nature-human system. National patterns can be seen as reflections of that concept on creative activity.Base on preceding conclusion,the paper further explores some outstanding shape characteristics of national patterns.
