The extension project of Shanghai - Nanjing expressway is on the basis of existing expressway that is four lanes, and it will rebuild original one to eight lanes. The bridge concatenation method of the extension project is to rely mainly on stepping the foot - path , with bridge type both sides concatenation, local separation. This paper introduce planting strand craft and other techniques and mesasures, improving bridge concatenation construction level, and assuring bridge construction quality of concatenation.
