Struggle and Sacrifice——Heroines in Cao Yu's works

曹禺剧作中塑造了两类极端的女性形象包括繁漪、陈白露、花金子在内的抗争者与愫方、瑞珏、王昭君代表的牺牲者,反映出作者不同人生阶段的生命体验及艺术取向。

Cao yu created two extreme kinds of heroines in his works:One kinds are the strugglers such as Fan Yi,chen Bailu the other ones are sacrificers such as Rui Yu,wang zhaojun,which reflected the writer's different experience and artistic tendency.
