The establishment of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area gives prominence to the special borderland, littoral, riparian and territorial location advantage of Southwest China and brings for it such development opportunities as trade creation, trade expansion, economy of scale, competition facilitation, absorbing foreign capital and economy of territory.
