Development of Countryside Tourism and Anti-poverty Strategy in Guizhou

贵州发展乡村旅游拥有其他省区不具有的自然条件和社会条件优势。开展乡村旅游对于贵州反贫困的意义不在于直接的经济效益,而在于以此为起点可从根本上提高贵州广大劳动者的智力发展水平,使他们获得彻底摆脱贫困的劳动技能。因此,贵州应以反贫困为目标,制定发展乡村旅游的战略规划;而面向全国的项目宣传、引入高智力进行战略研究以及对全体从业人员开展分类培训,是搞好贵州乡村旅游的基础性工作。

In developing countryside tourism, Guizhou has natural and social advantages which other provinces and autonomous regions do not have. The significance to anti-poverty in Guizhou of promoting countryside tourism is not in direct economic benefit, but in the fact that from this starting point, the intelligence development level of laborers in Guizhou can be improved fundamentally, thus enabling them to acquire labor skills necessary to eliminate poverty. Therefore, Guizhou should formulate strategic program of countryside tourism with the aim of anti-poverty; and it is basic requirement of fostering its development to conduct nationwide project publicity, introduce intellectuals for strategic research, and provide classified training all employees.
