A comparison of sports value orientations in China and the West

中西方体育价值各有不同的取向。由于文化的差异,中国传统体育的价值取向是人格化、养生化、伦理化、单一化;西方体育的价值取向是人体化、健身化、竞技化、多元化。

There are different orientations of sports value in China and the West.Due to cultural difference,the orientation of traditional sports value in China is anthropomorphized,cultivated,moralized and monotonized,while the orientation of sports value in the West is bodied,body-built,athletic and multifarious. Studying the difference of sports value orientations in China and the West is provided with important meaning for us to inherit our traditional sports culture and to learn from western sports culture.
