对民办高校定位问题的思考

定位是对办学要素的明确规定。我国民办高校的办学者,有的对定位问题认识不清,重视不够,也有相当多的学校追求"高"、"大"、"全"、"同"。学校定位的根据主要有两条:一是社会需求,二是自身优势。必须处理好共性与个性的关系,现实性与前瞻性的关系,变动性与稳定性的关系。

Location is the precise stipulation for school-running vital factor. In our country quite a lot of runners of colleges and universities don't clearly understand or don't pay enough attention to this respect; some of them seek'high purpose','large scale';'complete departments'and'compare with well-known universities without considering his own conditions'.There are two respects for the location of school:one is the need of the society; the other is its own superiority.It is necessary to well handle the relation between general character and individual character;the relation between reality and future;the relation between changeable character and stable character.
