The advantages and disadvantages of former-used dry type spraying/baking booth were analyzed. Base on the factory practices, the spraying/baking booth was re-designed with filter cotton and activated carbon treatment replaced by oil-curtain decontamination. The working principle, structure and characters of the paint spraying/baking combination booth with oil-curtain decontamination were introduced. The economic effect of the operating booth was calculated detailedly. Compared with the dry type spraying/baking booth, the oil-curtain type booth has significant economic effects in that the electric power charges and filter cotton consumption were saved, and the labor′s intensity was also reduced. The titled booth is suitable for extended applications for its easy maintenance, rational structuring and low running cost.
