摘要
本文对英国曼彻斯特大学的拓扑重构软件进行了剖析,揭示了该软件的结构和工作机制及对实时动态拓扑重构的支持情况,总结了其设计思想和技巧,对有关deadlock和starvation等问题进行了讨论,并针对其中的隐含错误和不足提出了修改意见,最后就大型多机系统的拓扑重构提出了设想。
Of the software for topology reconfiguration, designed by Manchester University, England, an analysis is given in the article. The analysis exposes the structure and mechanism of the software and the condition of the support it renders to the run-time dynamic topology reconfiguration. A summary to its designing idea and technology, and a discussion on such problems as deadlock and starvation, etc. are also made. The article in the final part suggests some modifications of its POtential errors and deficiencies and presents a tentative plan for the topology reconfiguration in the large-sized multiple computer system.
