重庆市大学城的建设立足于提升城市文化品位 ,增强城市教育功能 ,促进区域教育、经济和社会的互动发展。因此 ,在重庆市大学城的建设过程中应该突破原有的“内涵式发展的道路” ,采用“外延式发展”的战略 ,大力发展泛教育产业 ,促成大学和产业的联合 。

The construction of the University City in Chongqing is based on promoting the cultural grade,strengthening the educational functions,promoting interactive development of the regional education,econoˉmy and society in Chongqing.Chongqing should make a break_through to change the already existing”the way of contraction_type development”in the course of construction of the university city into”extension_type of development”,to develop the pan_educational industries,to favor the unification of university and industry,and to help the development of economic development.
