An Adaptive Receiver of HF Serial Digital Transmission Based on Kalman Filter and Channel Estimator

本文导出了一种以卡尔曼滤波和信道估值器为基础的高频串行数传自适应接收机。计算机模拟结果表明,该方案性能优于采用平方根卡尔曼算法的判决反馈均衡器(SRKA/DFE)2 dB左右,而运算量低于SRKA/DFE约15％,它可用来改进单音串行HF MODEM的设计。

In this paper, an adaptive receiver of HF setial digital transmission based on Kalman filter and channel estimator is proposed. The simulation results show that the performance of the proposed scheme is about 2 dB better than that of Decision-Feedback Equalizer based on Square-Root Kalman Algorithm (SRKA/DFE) and that its computational complexity is 15% lower than SRKA/DFE. The obtained results can be used to improve the design of single-tone HF MODEM.
