本文通过对大学历史发展过程的研究,探析大学的理念及其传统精神。大学的理念经历过从定位为"教育的机构"到 "研究中心",到与社会直接联系为社会服务的演变;大学的三大传统精神即独立自主、自治传统,学术自由传统,人文主义精神 传统。

This article discusses the developing process of university history,probes and analyses the university idea and traditional spirit. The university idea came through 'the educational organization' to 'centre of academic research' and then e volved into 'the organization which directly relate to and serve the community'. The three university traditional spirits are independence and autonomy, academic freedom, and humanism.
