This paper discusses the method of simplified calculation to the volume of earth and stone in building site by using grids. That is, divide the grids to several classifications by limiting the rules for the data input and using a number to classify deferent grids at first, then analysis all the possible situations and calculate. It is cconvenient to get the solution of the volume of earth and stone in building site by this program.
