Since WAP forum published its first version WAP specification in 1998, the WAP protocol has obtained considerable development in the mobile terminal's application. In the WAP specification, the WAP forum proposed many different services. Each mobile terminal's manufacturey has a different strategy of its own when it goes into operation. This article elaborates the difference in the application of the WAP protocol between Motorola Corporation and Nokia Corporation.
