The dissembled transportation and advanced site assembly (ASA) of transformers is a new kind of transportation and assemble technology for transformers, which can effectively solve the transportation of EHV large capacity power transformers. The author introduced the installation of 500 kV main transformer installed in Laiyang Substation and briefly describe features of 500 kV ASA transformers with erection, regulation and points for attention.
