On Information Resource Construction in University Libraries

分析阐述了高校图书馆在相当长的时期内,信息资源由实体馆藏和虚拟馆藏两部分构成,但实体馆藏占主导地位。提出图书、期刊和电子文献的经费投入比例及实体馆藏和虚拟馆藏资源建设的策略、方法和应该开展的工作及注意的问题。

This paper mainly expounds that information resources in university libraries are now consisted of material collections and virtual collections during a long period of time, but with material collections as the main component. It also studies the rate of fund for purchasing books, magazines and electrical documents, puts forward strategies and methods of building material collections and virtual collections, and points out some important issues in collection development.
